Food Design Research

Companatico is a research project in the food design field, presented in 2019 at the Breadway Festival in Matera.

The research developed around the experimentation with bread as a design material whose composition, consistency, and shape had to be reinterpreted. A careful investigation of traditional processes was accompanied by the desire to redefine its concept concerning new fruition experiences; the shape was then linked to the relationship that this food establishes with the consumer and the context of use.
