Manitu is a creative communication and product design studio based in Como and Terni.
Founded by Chiara Molinari and Alberto Zerbi, it was born from a shared vision of the project, a synthesis of different languages and sensitivities. By combining skills and an enthusiastic view of the creative process, we shape the contents of our clients with storytelling strategies whose cultural value is woven together with the strategic development, in terms of brand identity, creative direction, formal research, and multidisciplinary projects.
Our work stems from the belief that design gives meaning (sense) to things thanks to an unceasing dialogue between different inspirations, sub-cultures, and languages. From container to content, we combine creativity and research, investigating each project with a strategic approach in which the goals defined with the customer are as important as the ways and times with which they are achieved.
We analyze the client’s background to define consistent storytelling and develop all project-related aspects, whether in the field of graphics or product design, using multidisciplinary tools and skills.
We think that designing means understanding the nature of the whole project, with no boundaries between professions and subjects; this is why we believe in the constant development of collaborations with a network of independent professionals who support us to create a close and versatile team, specific for the nature of the project.
We design items for everyday life, creating an aesthetic value for our daily activities.
We work to create consistent and solid brand identities, in which the brand image becomes an effective positioning tool.
We are the creative partner of leading digital strategy agencies: we develop visuals to communicate brands and interpret marketing perspectives in Adv campaigns.
